Dunsmuir is located along I-5 in mountains of Northern California 45 miles north of Redding. Our town is a great place to live and work. We have great weather with mild seasons, its never too hot during the summer and just a little snow in the winter. Our elevation here is only 2300 feet. ft.
Our water comes from a pure underground springs from the slopes of Mt. Shasta and is piped to all the homes, we will never run out.

For the gardeners, my wife Cheryl owns the Window Box Nursery located on Sacramento Street just to the left of the Railcams view. Come visit in the Spring, Summer of Fall, she has all kinds of special hard to find roses.
